BLC is a small private school operated by parents. Because we operate as a series of small, decentralized
micro schools, we are able to morph and cultivate our programs to serve the ever changing needs of our students and their
families.
BLC micro-schools are designed
around individual student's needs. BLC helps each family create unique curriculum and build communities according to their
individual needs. As new students enroll, additional micro schools are added, our programs grow and more seats become available
for enrollment. Currently we have new micro-schools opening in the following areas:

While each of our micro-schools maintain a high academic standard, where we really
shine is in our enrichment programs. Our enrichment program serves the extraordinary interests of individual students in science,
art, history, languages and more as directed by student interest. We also make available our extraordinary content provider
partners such as Dept of Fish and Game, CA Academy of Science, 4H, County Fair Association, Metropolitan Equestrian Groups,
The Better Business Bureau, and More...
Each school has a unique character. Some schools
offer mask free learning environments, while others feature covid strict protocols. Specific details are influenced by the
parents in each school.
Our
COVID-19 updates include:

This year, our distance learning program is expanding greatly to serve families displaced by school
closures. If you have been interested in homeschooling, but have been afraid to try it, our program is perfect for
you. Some barriers may have included losing wages, not feeling competent, not wanting to be a 24/7 parent. BLC can help
you resolve all of those barriers. The BLC distance program ensures you get the best curriculum for your student and
if you need to work, we can help you create a program in which you can maintain a work schedule or even apply for a job
with us!
