The Scholar Plan is ideal for parents, of high ability (gifted) students over 14
years old, who want support with designing curriculum for advancement, but do not want to register
themselves as a private school with the State. This program also offers concurrent college enrollment and extra support
in curriculum and enrichment services for students with exceptional interests. Enrollment in this program is
enrollment in our private school, with all necessary record keeping and compliance tasks, including
grades, transcripts and administration to keep your program legal and of the highest quality.

BLC Scholar Program
$750 per month
Curriculum Consultation
Included
Alternate Weekly phone/or online consultations for curriculum planning and evaluation. Access to BLC's curated list of dozens of free and low cost online curriculum, including our popular online
Math program.
Enrichment Curriculum Design
Included
Receive the design and facilitation of two custom design enrichment workshops serving your student's
exceptional interests. Free priority seating in all enrichment workshops offered while enrolled. Concurrent college enrollment
in any California community college shaving thousands of dollars off 4 year college tuition with transferable credit.
Socialization Activities
Included
Introduction to your local distance learning community, a rich resource for ideas, social events
and support. Includes assistance coordinating with other families to share learning experiences. Priority access to small
group classes and field trips is included.
Priority placement for free seating in all BLC enrichment workshops. Two custom designed enrichment workshops
supporting your student's exceptional interest. See Find My Tribe.
Drop off Days
and Curriculum
Included
The Comprehensive Program includes all of the above and up to three Hybrid (drop off) days weekly. Instruction takes place at home except for Enrichment
workshops and designated drop off Hybrid days TBA.
CAMPS
Included
Priority free seating in your choice of one of our scheduled week-long camps for either summer, spring
or winter breaks. TBA
Legal Protection
Included
In the unlikely event of a legal issue regarding compliance with the Department of Education, you have
access to our legal affiliate specializing in homeschool protection.
