One of the reasons so many families with gifted children choose
to home-school is to achieve the freedom to accelerate and to accommodate the various learning styles and interests
of their student/s.
BLC's PSP gifted program works with parents to create and implement a home
learning curriculum that supports the unique abilities and interests of their gifted learner and connects them socially-academically
with like minded peers.
Home learners enrolled in
the BLC PSP gifted program can opt in to many free enrichment workshops and enjoy self-paced academics. Parents are
worry-free with BLC's administration of student records as required by California Department of Education including but
not limited to attendance, performance and instruction.
Privacy:
Records are maintained as hard copy documents in a secured physical location, not in "the cloud", nor on the internet.
Student records are kept private, only be accessed by court order or provided to a new school by way of legal hard
copy transfer by US Postal Mail service. Notice: due to our expansion, records are now also kept electronically on the hard
drive of a secure server.
